GOING PAPERLESS
Mail if not regularly managed is usually the biggest offender of paper clutter in our homes. One of the best ways to tackle mail clutter is to create a system to manage it before it even makes it to our mailboxes. Here are four ways to go paperless:
1. Opt-Out of Junk Mail
To stop receiving junk mail about credit cards and insurance offers call
1-888 -5 - OPT - OUT or go to optoutprescreen.com.
* Up to 5 years or permanently.
2. Use E- Billing
Request e-billing for medical and utility bills.
3. Manage your Subscriptions
Contact the retailers/company you have subscribed to and manage your subscription preferences.
4. Sign Up for E-Statements
Call your banks and or financial services provider(s) to request that statements be emailed.
